Awad Mohamed is currently an ICTP - TRIL Research Fellow at Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, focusing on the development of advanced experimental instrumentation and theoretical methods for laboratory astrophysics since June 2021. Prior to this position, Awad served as a lecturer at the University of Khartoum and Sudan International University from March 2017 to June 2021, teaching various Mathematics and Physics courses to undergraduate students. Additionally, Awad taught at the International University of Africa from March 2017 to September 2018. Awad holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Khartoum, a Master's degree in condensed matter physics from Università degli Studi di Trieste, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Physics at the University of Camerino, expected to be completed by November 2025.
