Brad Nicklas is a Process Engineer at Elessent Clean Technologies, responsible for developing technical designs and engineering packages for MECS® Sulfuric Acid and DynaWave® Wet Gas Scrubbing Technologies while also engaging in plant troubleshooting and startup since June 2023. Previously, Brad served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Kansas, focusing on treatments for metabolic disease and reaction engineering from March 2021 to May 2023. During a short tenure as a Production Engineering Co-op at Dow, Brad worked on streamlining operations and enhancing safety before returning to academia as an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow and Research Assistant in chemical engineering. Early career experiences include maintenance work for Columbia Public Schools and officiating soccer matches for the U.S. Soccer Federation. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Kansas, earned in May 2023.
