Zhiwei (Wayne) Jiang has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles in the semiconductor industry. Zhiwei(Wayne) joined Element Energy, Inc. in 2022 as a Staff MTS in system engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Microchip Technology Inc. from 2015 to 2022, holding positions of Principal Application Engineer and Principal Product Engineer. At Microchip Technology, they focused on DCDC controller, MCM, and power module (POL) development and reference design for computing and telecom. Zhiwei(Wayne) also had responsibilities in evaluation board design and layout, writing design objectives, specifications, road test plans/reports, and datasheets. Before their time at Microchip Technology, Zhiwei worked at Micrel semiconductor Inc. from 2010 to 2015 as a Sr. New Product Development Engineer, where they played the role of product owner and led project teams in delivering engineering samples and releasing new power management ICs for mass production. Prior to that, they were a Product Engineer at Advanced Analogic Technologies from 2005 to 2010. In this role, they served as a project manager, overseeing the transfer of qualified mixed-signal IC products from design to production. Zhiwei(Wayne) was responsible for tracking and managing schedules, updating the US headquarters on progress, and initiating documents for the Release to Production process.

Zhiwei (Wayne) Jiang obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Automation Engineering from Tongji University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Zhiwei(Wayne) later pursued further education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, completing a Master of Engineering degree in Microelectronics from 2004 to 2006.
