Brian Birdi has over 20 years of experience in the field of automation engineering. Brian started their career in 2002 as a Reagent Coordinator at Eli Lilly. In 2006, they joined Novartis as a Scientist I and was promoted to Senior Automation Engineer in 2014. Brian then moved to Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research in 2013 as a Scientific Technical Leader I. In 2020, they joined PACT Pharma as an Associate Director Lab Automation and is currently working as an Associate Director, Automation Engineering at ELEGEN since 2022.

Brian Birdi attended Queen Mary University of London from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a BSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
