John W. Robinson, P.E. has extensive experience in structural engineering, particularly in the field of broadcast structures and antenna supporting structures. John W. worked at Electronics Research, Inc. (ERI) for a total of 23 years, starting in 1994 as a Senior Engineer in the Structural Engineering Group. During their time at ERI, they were responsible for the design of steel structures above ground and foundations for new broadcast structures and special broadcast antenna supporting structures and antenna masts. In 2017, they made a career change and joined HODGE STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS, INC. as the Principal Structural Engineer in the Tower Division. In this role, they contributed their expertise until 2022 when they returned to Electronics Research, Inc. as the Vice President of Structural Engineering. In this current position, they manage the structural engineering department, supervises staff engineers and designers, and collaborates with other departments regarding fabrication processes and specifications for tower construction and structural reinforcements.
John W. Robinson, P.E. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Evansville, where they studied from 1973 to 1977. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completing it between 1981 and 1983. Continuing their academic journey, Robinson earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville from 1983 to 1985.
