Richard Hunt is an experienced executive with a diverse background in leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as Executive Chairman of The Electronic Payments Coalition since August 2023, Richard is also the Founder of HuntGroupDC, LLC, and holds positions as a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group and an Advisory Board Member at SentiLink, all since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Richard was a Senior Advisor to the President & CEO and the President & CEO at the Consumer Bankers Association from 2009 to September 2022. Richard's experience includes serving as Past Chancellor of the Exchequer Club of Washington, D.C., from May 2021 to May 2022, and as Senior Managing Director at SIFMA from 2001 to 2008. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chief of Staff to Congressman Jim McCrery from January 1993 to June 2001. Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earned between 1984 and 1989.
