Mikael Östman is the current General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Electrolux. Mikael has held this position since September of 2002. Prior to their current role, they served as the Head of Legal for Telia Mobile Sweden from September 2000 to September 2002. Östman has also been with Electrolux Försäkringsaktiebolag since January 2017 and held the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors from January 2017 to December 2021.

Mikael Östman has a Master of Laws from Stockholm University, a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University, and an Electrolux Executive Management Program from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.

Mikael Östman reports to Jonas Samuelson, President and CEO. They are on a team with Carsten Franke - Chief Operations Officer, Executive Vice President, Nolan Pike - Head of Business Area North America, Executive Vice President, and Ricardo Cons - Head of Major Appliances Latin America and Executive Vice President of AB Electrolux.
