Geoff Brown Ao

Geoff Brown AO has an extensive work history in the aerospace and defense industry. Geoff has held various roles in the Royal Australian Air Force, starting in 1981 and continuing until 2015. During their time in the Air Force, they served as Chief of Air Force, Deputy Chief of Air Force, Director of Capability Development, and Commander Air Combat Group, among others. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic leadership, policy guidance, and managing operational airworthiness aspects. Since leaving the Air Force, Brown has held director positions at Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd, Electro Optic Systems Holdings Pty Limited, and CAE Asia Pacific. Geoff also founded their consulting firm, GCB Stratos Consulting Pty Ltd, where they provided high-level strategic advisory and consultancy services. Additionally, Brown has served as the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Sir Richard Williams Foundation.

Geoff Brown AO completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland during the period of 1976 to 1980. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Studies at Deakin University, graduating in 2005. Lastly, they completed a graduate program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2006.
