Kane Freeman currently serves as the Design Manager for the Power Network Group at Electrical Reticulation Design Services (ERDS), a position held since November 2021. In this role, Kane leads a team of 20 professionals, overseeing the design and delivery of various electrical projects for key clients, including Energex, Ergon Energy, and multiple councils. Prior to this, Kane held roles at ERDS as Non-Contestable Works Manager and Team Lead/Electrical Designer, contributing to significant distribution design projects. Kane's career includes positions as Principal Designer at SMEC, Senior Electrical Designer at APD Engineering, Electrical Design Officer at Electrical Reticulation Design Services Pty Ltd, and Engineering Trainee at Northpower, beginning in 2005. Education includes attendance at Whangarei Boys High School.
