Miguel Ortega-Vazquez currently serves as a Senior Principal Team Lead, Principal Project Manager, Principal Technical Leader, and Senior Technical Leader at EPRI since September 2017. Concurrently, Miguel holds various academic positions at the University of Washington in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, serving as Affiliate Associate Professor, Affiliate Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor, and Research Assistant Professor since January 2012. Prior experience includes a position as Assistant Professor at Chalmers University of Technology from June 2010 to July 2011, and as a Research Associate at the University of Manchester from July 2006 to May 2010, specializing in Electrical Energy Systems.
