Matthew Pitt is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the eHeat Manager at Electric Ireland since September 2019. Matthew has held various roles, including Director (Trustee) at Empower Community Foundation, where significant funding has been awarded to community groups. Prior experience includes positions as Low Carbon and Funding Officer at Durham County Council and Green Technical Team Leader at Gentoo Group Limited, where Matthew contributed to the development and delivery of green energy initiatives. Matthew holds an MSc in Renewable Energy from Newcastle University and a BA BAI in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, along with experience in both customer service and technical roles throughout their career.
