Cheryl Sanders has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Cheryl has served as the Director of Human Resources at Elder Care Services since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Trulieve as a Human Resources Business Partner and Security Analyst from January 2022 to September 2023. Cheryl also worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Bass Pro Shops from June 2019 to January 2022. Cheryl gained experience in the furniture industry as part of Woodhaven Furniture Industries, a division of Aaron's Inc., where they worked in Human Resources from April 2014 to April 2019. Cheryl's earlier experience includes serving as an HR Manager at Promax Automotive, Inc. from May 2001 to August 2013 and as a Human Resources Manager at ITOCHU Automobile America, Inc. from January 2011 to July 2012. Cheryl began their career as a Purchasing Assistant at DEI, Inc. in 1999.

Cheryl Sanders attended Wilmington University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services. Prior to that, they attended Miami University from 1994 to 1999, majoring in Psychology. In 2015, Cheryl obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM.
