Shreyas Shah

Shreyas Shah has extensive work experience in the technology and networking industry. Shreyas is currently the Founder, CTO, and Chief Scientist at Elastics.cloud, Inc., a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Principal Engineer from July 2018 to February 2021, where they were responsible for the architecture of Ethernet switch packet processing pipeline and the memory subsystem in Next Gen SmartNIC. Shreyas also led the CXL use case working group.

Before their time at Intel, Shah worked as an FPGA Consulting Implementor at Stealth from December 2017 to June 2018. Shreyas then spent a significant portion of their career at Xilinx, Inc, joining in 2009 as a Data Center Architect and staying until December 2017. During their time at Xilinx, they played a critical role in various projects, including the design of the AWS F1 product, security features in VU9P based boards, and database accelerators in China. Shreyas also represented Xilinx in various industry associations and drove the development of Virtio drivers.

Earlier in their career, Shah held positions at PLX Technology, Xsigo Systems (later acquired by Oracle), Fabric7 Systems (later acquired by Oracle), Sisilk Networks (later acquired by Broadcom), and Alantec (later acquired by Ericsson). In these roles, they served as a System Architect, Founder & CTO, Chip Architect, and Lead ASIC Designer & Hardware Architect, gaining expertise in various aspects of hardware and system architecture.
