Paul Tavares is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in front-end development and UI/UX architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Elastic since October 2019, Paul focuses on Elastic Endpoint Security, collaborating with UX/Product designers and system architects within the Kibana platform. Prior to this role, Paul contributed to Endgame as a Senior Software Engineer, optimizing UI features for the security management platform using React, Redux, and TypeScript. Paul's earlier career includes significant achievements at Ericsson, where as a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, Paul led the development of a new front-end application for cloud infrastructure management and established coding standards across teams. Additionally, Paul has a background in project management and technical consulting at various organizations, including United Airlines and Telcordia Technologies, and holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University.
