John Metzger is a seasoned professional in the food industry with extensive experience in sales and marketing. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Food Industry Engagement at Elanco since March 2019, John previously held the position of Director for the Food Industry Engagement Team at the same company from June 2009 to December 2018. Prior to joining Elanco, John worked at Dairy Farmers of America in various leadership roles from 1997 to June 2009, including Director of Specialty Sales and Director of New Product Development. Earlier in John's career, positions at Borden Dairy Company included roles in sales development and analytics from 1992 to 1997. John holds multiple degrees in finance and business administration from The Ohio State University and the University of South Carolina.
