Hector A Jimenez has a wealth of experience in marketing and brand building. Hector A started their career as a Marketing Trainee and eventually became a Product Manager at CPC International/Best Foods, where they gained experience in packaging development, manufacturing, and advertising production.
Hector A then moved on to V. Suarez & Co. as a Product Manager in the Foods Division, where they worked with various brands in different product categories.
After that, they joined Unilever as a Product Manager in the Personal Care Division, where they had full strategic planning and business development responsibilities for multiple programs and categories. Hector A later became the Regional Innovation Centre Manager for Latin America, leading skin-care innovation and harmonization efforts.
Hector then transitioned to Yum! Brands as a Marketing Director, overseeing Pizza Hut in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. Hector A successfully launched new products and promotions, combining traditional and digital media.
Next, they joined Encanto Restaurants as the Vice President of Marketing, where they led the advertising efforts for YUM brands in Puerto Rico, including Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC.
Prior to their current role, Hector worked at Diversia Brand Building and Integrated Marketing as a Brand Builder and Part-Time Professor. Hector A provided marketing consulting services to various clients, including El Meson Sandwiches, Papa John's Pizza, and Frito Lay.
Currently, Hector is serving as the Vice President of Marketing at El Meson Sandwiches.
Hector A Jimenez holds a Master of Advertising degree from Syracuse University - SI Newhouse School of Public Communication, which they obtained from 1991 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing/Management at Loyola University New Orleans from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their academic qualifications, Hector A Jimenez is also a Licensed Public Relations Professional certified by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 2012.
