Francisco Carrión Molina is an experienced journalist with a career spanning over a decade in various high-profile roles. Currently serving as a Redactor at El Independiente since June 2021, Francisco previously worked as a Corresponsal en Egipto for El Mundo from January 2011 to June 2021, covering significant events across the Middle East. Francisco’s earlier experience includes serving as a Redactor at EFE in Cairo, where contributions included international news coverage, as well as foundational work as a Redactor and founder of El Eco de Estepa. Additional roles include a brief internship at RTVE and a position in the press office of FAECA. Francisco holds degrees in Journalism from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Universidad de Sevilla, with further studies in Journalism/New Media at the University of Leeds.
