Gulny Sarelli Rossi has a diverse range of work experience. Gulny Sarelli began their career as a Spanish Medical Interpreter at UNC Hospitals in 2004 and then moved on to become a Research Recruiter/Collection Specialist/Spanish Interpreter at Duke University in 2005. At Duke, they recruited Hispanic and English-speaking patients for a research program and also provided interpretation services.
In 2010, Gulny joined Durham Connects as a Project Coordinator/Latino Outreach Coordinator. In this role, they oversaw the clinical intervention process from parent recruitment in the hospital to post-visit interventions. Gulny Sarelli also conducted strategic planning and outreach to maximize hospital recruitment rates and success, as well as maintained communication with local Latino agencies.
Later in 2010, Gulny joined El Futuro, Inc. as the Director of Operations, a role they still hold to date.
Gulny Sarelli Rossi pursued their education at two different institutions. From 1998 to 2000, they attended East Carolina University, where they focused on Psychology. Following this, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed their Masters of Healthcare Administration from 2006 to 2009.
