Ali Hashemi is a distinguished entrepreneur and healthcare leader, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of meta[bolic], a hybrid digital therapeutics company focused on addressing the global metabolic health crisis. In addition, Ali Hashemi co-founded and chairs GluCare Health, a tech-enabled diabetes care platform that leverages advanced technologies for clinician support. As Managing Director of Polymath Ventures, Ali Hashemi also holds leadership roles in several other organizations, including chairman positions at ekar and board memberships at all.health and formsense. Ali Hashemi's previous experience includes founding and directing Amana Healthcare, a rapidly growing sub-acute care platform in the UAE, and serving as Principal at Booz & Company, where Ali Hashemi led the Middle East Healthcare practice. Ali Hashemi holds a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering and Religion from Duke University and an MBA from McGill University. Ali Hashemi continues to contribute to education as a lecturer at the Fuqua School of Business and is involved with various advisory boards.
