Ker Moua has been in the professional workforce since 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Student Assistant/Front Counter Attendant for Transportation and Parking Services at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2015, they joined PRIDE Industries as an Accounts Payable Specialist. In 2017, they began working for EKA Solutions, Inc. as a Lead Engineer, Senior Developer, and Full Stack Developer.

Ker Moua received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Santa Barbara in 2014. In 2016, Ker Moua began the Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program at Hack Reactor.
