Valeria Llerena is an expert in transparency of extractive industries, currently working as a consultant for the EITI. Valeria has previously held roles as a projects officer at Fundación Panamericana para el Desarrollo and as a local consultant at the World Bank. Prior to this, Valeria worked as an analyst of international affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources. Valeria also has experience as a destination consultant at Staff Relocation Services Ecuador. Valeria holds a master's degree in International Security from the University of Warwick and a multilingual degree in business and international relations from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
