Unai Mimenza Gonzalez is an audio engineer from Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain, with extensive experience in sound engineering and production. Since 2016, Unai has been self-employed, and prior to that, professionally contributed to EITB as a sound engineer since 2012, focusing on sound technical work for audio post-production in series and programs. Unai co-founded Practice Your Music in 2012, creating an interactive tool for musicians to enhance their practice experience. Additionally, from 2001 to 2016, Unai worked at BALEA MUSIKA IDEIAK, specializing in recording and mixing music, radio advertisements, audio post-production for video, and live sound. Unai holds a BSc (Hons) in Music, Acoustics and Recording from The University of Salford, earned between 1998 and 2002.
