Kyle MacDonald is a specialized professional in strategic project management and innovation within the manufacturing and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Strategic External Projects and Acting Innovation Manager at EIT Manufacturing, Kyle facilitates collaboration for sustainable manufacturing initiatives across Europe. Previously at Volvo Cars, Kyle led audio system projects, overseeing more than 30 proof of concepts focused on advanced audio technologies and embedded systems. As a Senior Consultant at Semcon, Kyle played a pivotal role in setting strategic directions for audio and acoustic innovations for major automotive brands. With a strong foundation in acoustics and DSP engineering from early career roles at QNX Software Systems and Empower Technologies, along with co-founding a non-profit swing dance organization, Kyle combines technical expertise with community engagement. Kyle holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
