Gerhard Russ is an experienced professional in innovation and technology management, currently serving as the Innovation Manager at EIT Manufacturing since July 2021, where responsibilities include coordinating innovation activities across Eastern Europe and supporting sustainable production solutions. Prior roles at OMV included Technology Manager, where Gerhard managed global R&D strategy, and Department Manager positions, overseeing Information Management and Project Management tools. With a background in research and development from the Austrian Institute of Technology, Technical University of Vienna, and early software development roles, Gerhard holds both a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Technical University of Vienna.
