Ana I. Alcaine is a seasoned professional focused on enhancing female participation in deeptech venture investment. Currently, Ana leads initiatives at EIT Manufacturing and previously at EIT Food, emphasizing training and investment management for female investors while organizing investment forums for female-led startups. Ana serves as an external member of the Innovation Committee at INECO and functions as an independent expert for the European Commission's EIC Accelerator, evaluating deeptech funding requests. As an adjunct professor at IE Business School, Ana teaches entrepreneurship across various programs and mentors entrepreneurs at London Business School. With a background in consulting for startups and corporations in deeptech and other sectors, Ana has held leadership roles in business analysis and technology transfer initiatives.
