Magda Krakowiak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Magda is currently the Director of EIT Health Accelerator, where they oversee the program's design, recruitment, and execution. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Open Innovation at EIT Health, leading a team responsible for designing and implementing open innovation programs and supporting portfolio companies. Magda also worked as an Innovation Manager at EIT Health, co-designing and delivering an open innovation venture-building program called Wild Card. Before joining EIT Health, they worked as an EU Policy Officer for Research and Innovation at the Regional Office of Lodzkie Region in Brussels, where they facilitated collaboration between Polish universities, European universities, and regions. At Grupa Doradcza Sienna Sp. z o.o., Magda was a Public Procurement Consultant and later a Project Coordinator, working on a report for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Magda began their career at GENI Polska Sp. z o.o., where they served as an Assistant to the Board, supporting the Managing Director with various tasks.
Magda Krakowiak holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Warsaw, which they earned between 2008 and 2013. Prior to this, they completed another Master's degree in History at Uniwersytet Opolski from 2002 to 2007. In addition, Magda obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence in Health Care from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2021.
