Martin King is an experienced IT Security Analyst currently working at EirGrid Group since December 2021, previously serving in the same role at IBM from September 1998 to April 2021. At IBM, Martin transitioned into a Security & Compliance Management role in 2013, focusing on security requirements for commercial clients including Aer Lingus and Uniphar. Earlier roles at IBM included Server Support Specialist, where responsibilities included server maintenance, and Deskside Support Technician, providing hardware and software support for major clients such as Pfizer and Electrolux. Martin began their career in technical support for the IBM PC Helpdesk and holds a BTEC National Certificate in Computer Studies from Newry College of Further Education.
