Sigurdur Kristjansson has a strong background in project management and software development. Sigurdur started their career in 1989 as a Programmer at VKS. Sigurdur then moved on to work at EJS, where they served as a Project Manager and Software Developer for the MMDS project in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. In 2002, they joined Betware as a Project Manager before transitioning to Siminn in 2005, where they continued their role as a Project Manager until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Sigurdur worked at Capgemini Consulting as a Managing Consultant. Most recently, they have been working at Eimskip as a Project Manager since 2013.

Sigurdur Kristjansson attended Háskóli Íslands from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
