Nicholas Salazar is an experienced marine professional with a diverse background spanning multiple roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as a Marine Cargo Surveyor and Marine Claims specialist at EIMC since August 2019, Nicholas also holds the position of 2nd Mate with the International Organization of Masters, Mates, & Pilots, navigating the M/V Green Bay on routes between East Asia and the West Coast of North America. Additional roles include Sales at Smart Shield Roofing and Construction, where Nicholas manages customer relations and insurance claims, and previous positions such as Surveyor at MUND+BRUNS LLC and Superintendent at Ceres Gulf Stevedores. Nicholas’s maritime journey began in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Electrician-Sergeant, and Nicholas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Transportation from California State University Maritime Academy.
