Chris Grove is a seasoned professional in the gaming and sports industries, currently serving as a Co-Founding Partner at Acies Investments since December 2020, where Chris focuses on venture capital in sports betting and esports. Additionally, Chris is an Operating Advisor for Arctos Sports Partners, leveraging expertise in regulated gambling to support private equity initiatives. As a Mentor at Techstars Sports Accelerator, Chris aids startups at the convergence of sports, entertainment, and gaming. Chris also holds a Partner Emeritus role at Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, contributing to research in sports betting, and serves as a General Partner at EKG Ventures, the venture arm of Eilers & Krejcik. Previous roles include CEO and Co-Founder of American Affiliate and Acting Director of Catena Media's U.S. division. Chris holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Illinois State University.
