Nalin Siriwardhana has been working in the software quality assurance field since 2013. Nalin began their career as an Apprentice Quality Assurance Engineer at Virtusa, where they were responsible for release owner activities, reviewing and maintaining test artifacts, requirements understanding and ambiguity review, preparation, review and execution of manual test cases, regression testing, and defect tracking and management. Nalin then moved up to Software Quality Engineer and Associate Consultant roles at Virtusa, where they were responsible for test estimation, test strategies and test plan creation, detail reviewing of test artifacts to ensure quality and standards, configuration management, and tracking and analyzing Quality Indicators. In 2015, Nalin moved to VitalHub Innovations Lab, where they were a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, they were a QA Subject Matter Expert for the healthcare domain and had experience working in multiple OS and platforms, including mobile and web-based. Theirroles and responsibilities included module lead, go-to person and product manager roles, creating test scenarios, designing and developing test cases, executing test cases, performing peer reviews, mobile testing, browser compatibility testing, defect management, creating knowledge base documents and articles, QA artifact management, coordinating meetings and sharing documents with the on-site team, test effort estimation, reporting and verifying defects, setting up QA environments using Jenkins, and testing REST APIs using Postman. In 2020, Nalin joined EIGHT25MEDIA as a Quality Assurance Team Lead, Associate Lead Software Quality Assurance, and Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Nalin Siriwardhana has an extensive educational background. Nalin received a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree Program in Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology from SLIIT in 2009-2012. Prior to that, they attended Rahula College from 2002-2007. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA at Cardiff Metropolitan University, with a focus on Business/Commerce, General. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, such as Java Script from Udemy in October 2022, Strategic Planning Foundations from Project Management Institute in August 2021, Automate Everything with Katalon Studio from Udemy in February 2020, Git and GitHub from Udemy in January 2020, International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)'s Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in January 2019, and Scrum from Udemy.
