Dr. Stefan Georg Hild

Dr. Stefan Georg Hild has had extensive experience in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Dr. Stefan Georg is currently serving as the VP Data Science and a member of the Board of Directors at ei3: Industrial Internet Intelligence since December 2021. In this role, they are involved in improving machines and processes through sustainable and meaningful solutions, with a focus on operational efficiencies.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Hild was the CEO and Founder of Cognitive Solutions and Innovation AG from January 2017 to December 2021. There, they developed cutting-edge data analytics and AI solutions to address industrial manufacturing challenges. Dr. Stefan Georg'swork included improving industrial processes, asset utilization, and sustainability.

Before their role at Cognitive Solutions and Innovation AG, Dr. Hild held various roles at IBM. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Partner and Director of Industry Solutions. From 2010 to 2015, they held the position of Partner and Director of Consulting Services. Additionally, they were the Partner and Director of Application Innovation Services at IBM Global Business Services from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they served as the Technical Executive at IBM CEEMEA from 2006 to 2008.

Dr. Hild began their career at IBM Research in 2002 as a Senior Manager. Dr. Stefan Georg then transitioned to IBM Zurich Research, where they served as a Manager and Research Staff Member from 1997 to 2001.

Dr. Stefan Georg Hild pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Dr. Stefan Georg completed their PhD degree from the University of Cambridge, specializing in Computer Science, during the period from 1991 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained a certification in PPL / IR from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2002.
