Friedrich v. Gottberg began their work experience in 2014 as a Consultant at Capgemini Consulting for a period of five months. Friedrich then joined EGYM | DACH as a Business Development professional for a brief period of three months. After that, they served as Junior Manager Einkauf from November 2014 to December 2015. Friedrich then moved up the ladder within the company, transitioning to Sales Finance Manager from January 2016 to December 2017. Next, they took on the role of Head of Sales Finance from January 2018 to January 2022. Currently, Friedrich holds the position of Director Financial Services at EGYM | DACH.

Friedrich v. Gottberg completed their Bachelor of Science degree in PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano from 2007 to 2011. In 2009-2010, they also attended the University of Warwick as a visiting student, focusing on Economics. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Friedrich pursued dual Master of Science degrees in Economics from both the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and Fudan University.
