Christian Rye has a comprehensive work experience in the media and production industry. Christian started their career as a VT Operator at Prime Focus UK in 2005. Christian then moved to The Mill, where they held various roles, including Senior VT Operator and Shift Supervisor. During their time at The Mill, they gained extensive knowledge in VT, digital media, and media management. In 2012, they joined LAB Post Production @ AMV BBDO as the Head of MCR, managing a team of edit-assistants and overseeing efficient workflows. Christian then transitioned to eg+ worldwide in 2015, where they held the position of Head of Edit Assist and later became the Head of Bankside Film Studio and Edit Assist. At eg+ worldwide, they successfully managed projects, budgeting, and team development, resulting in increased efficiency and talent growth.
Christian Rye attended Long Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued A Levels in Business Studies, Computing, Design & Technology, and Maths. Following this, from 2002 to 2005, they studied at Brunel University London, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Technology & Design.
