Peyton Ring currently serves as an Associate Attorney at Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis, P.C. since July 2023. Prior to this role, Peyton worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Amy Morris Hess at the University of Tennessee College of Law while also gaining practical experience as a Law Clerk and Student Attorney in the Wills Clinic, where practice was conducted under Rule 7, Section 10.03 of the Tennessee Supreme Court. Previous law clerk positions at various firms provided experience in drafting estate planning documents, contracts, and other legal research. Peyton received a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law and a Doctor of Law from the University of Tennessee College of Law, bolstered by a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from American University. Additional experience includes internships with the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and the Office of Congressman James Comer.
