Owen Pearce has extensive experience in research and development within the biotechnology field, currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at eGenesis, Inc. since June 2021. Previous roles include positions at Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. as a Research Associate II and in cell line development, as well as a Research and Development Intern at Retina France, where Owen Pearce worked on gene therapy treatments. Additional experience includes a research assistant role at Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on the effects of Zonulin on cell permeability. Owen Pearce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Northeastern University, completed in 2021, and has also developed leadership skills as a Sailing Instructor and Director of the Adult Sailing Program in the Town of Swampscott.
