Julie Andrea Nesse is a seasoned legal professional specializing in competition law. Currently serving as a Senior Legal Officer at the EFTA Surveillance Authority since November 2019, Julie has also held the position of Legal Officer in the same field. Julie gained additional experience through a secondment at the European Commission in 2023, focusing on antitrust case support and policy. Prior roles include Advisor and Higher Executive Officer at Konkurransetilsynet from April 2017 to November 2019, as well as a Legal Intern at Forbrukerombudet. Julie's academic credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law from King's College London, as well as multiple law degrees from the University of Bergen, University of Dundee, and CY Cergy Paris Université.
