Violet Y. is an Assistant Editor at Bright North Studios, involved in projects for Paramount+ and CBS, as well as The CW Network and Netflix since July 2023. Previously, Violet held the position of Associate Producer at Space Monkey Media, contributing to the production of a pilot podcast. Additional experience includes a post-production internship at marblemedia, with a focus on unscripted reality TV editing. Violet has a strong marketing background, having served as a Senior Marketing Officer for The Hong Kong Jockey Club, where over 30 racing events were promoted, and as Assistant Manager for the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, managing public inquiries and community events. Early career roles included fundraising event planning at Yan Oi Tong and reporting for Apple Daily Limited and TVB, covering fashion and entertainment news. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies for the Professions from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and graduated from Seneca Polytechnic.
