Lidia Grzegorczyk, Dr Eng., is a distinguished expert in energy efficiency and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, currently serving as the CEO and Founder of VELMA ESG, a company focused on GRI-compliant reporting tools. With a robust background as an independent consultant since April 2018, Lidia has contributed to projects assessing greenhouse gas emissions for both residential and industrial buildings. As an independent expert with EFRAG since March 2023, Lidia actively participates in the ESRS Digital Reporting Consultative Forum. Lidia's extensive experience includes roles such as Chief Energy Engineer at BNP Paribas, Manager of Innovation & Energy Efficiency at Veolia Energy, and a jury member for the European Commission evaluating energy and innovation projects. Lidia holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Doctor of Science degree from Poznan University of Technology, complemented by postgraduate studies in Management and Leadership.
