Daminda Mulgama has extensive experience in the field of business development and marketing. Daminda started their career as a Shipping Clerk at Delmage Shipping in 1991 and then moved on to work as a Marketing Executive at EVERGREEN LINE from 1993 to 1995. In 1996, they joined McLarens Group of Companies as a Marketing Manager, where they worked until 2003. After that, they became the Director of Business Development at EFL in 2003.

Daminda Mulgama (FICS UK) completed their high school education at Trinity College Kandy from 1982 to 1990. Daminda received a high school diploma with a focus on Economics, History, Geography, and Political Science.

After completing high school, Daminda Mulgama pursued further education at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers from 1999 to 2003. There, they earned a degree as a Chartered Shipbroker and specialized in the field of Shipping and Logistics.
