Michael Wohlmayr has extensive experience in software engineering and research, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Vision at Efkon GmbH since June 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as a Senior Audio Signal Processing Engineer at Commend International, focusing on audio signal processing algorithms for embedded intercom devices, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Graz University of Technology, concentrating on machine learning and speech enhancement. Earlier career experiences include working as a Senior Research Engineer at SYNVO, where development of machine learning models for speech synthesis and natural language processing was a focus, and as a Researcher at Technische Universität Graz, engaged in research and teaching in machine learning and related fields. Michael Wohlmayr earned a PhD and a Master's degree in Telematik from Technische Universität Graz between 2001 and 2012.
