Yasmin Afsharnejad has a diverse work experience. Yasmin began their career as a Research Intern at Politecnico di Torino in 2014, followed by a Research Intern position at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2015. In 2016, they took on the role of Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2019, they were a Software Developer/Researcher at Evenset Inc. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer at Huawei. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Efinix, Inc.

Yasmin Afsharnejad has a comprehensive education history. Yasmin obtained a Diploma in Mathematics from Nedaye Zeinab, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tehran between 2011 and 2015, and a MASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: Design Patterns: Creational from LinkedIn in March 2021 and Competitive Strategy from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) on Coursera in September 2013.
