Sarah M. has a diverse range of work experience. Sarah started their career in 2007 as a Lettings Negotiator at Featherstone Leigh, where they honed their customer service skills. In 2008, they moved to The Property Center and worked as a Property Sales Negotiator, establishing a prospect base and contributing to the setup of a new lettings function.
In 2009, Sarah joined EventElephant (a SaaS start-up) as a Customer Support Executive and quickly rose to the role of Customer Support Manager. Sarah demonstrated initiative by suggesting product improvement ideas and implementing effective customer support strategies. During their time at EventElephant, they also took on product management responsibilities and led a team of outsourced developers.
Sarah then joined eFinancialCareers in 2011 as a Client Services Manager for the UK and Middle East. Sarah led a team of 10 client service professionals, implemented new strategies, and played a key role in the product management process of a complete redesign of the client back office application. Sarah was promoted to Head of Client Services within two years.
In 2014, Sarah transitioned to the role of Senior Product Manager at eFinancialCareers, and in 2021, they became the Director of Product Development. Sarah was responsible for product vision, strategy, planning, and delivery, introducing efficient processes and fostering collaboration within the product team.
Currently, Sarah holds the position of VP, Product at eFinancialCareers. Sarah is a member of the senior leadership team and oversees the product vision, strategy, and delivery. Sarah has implemented data-driven and collaborative approaches, as well as efficient product/development and go-to-market processes, with a focus on delivering customer value. Sarah has also introduced the concept of empowered, agile, cross-functional product teams to solve real user problems.
Sarah M. completed their Diploma in Business Administration (MBA Stage One) at the University of London from 2013 to 2014. Sarah then pursued a Master's degree in Democracy, Politics, and Governance at Royal Holloway, University of London. Their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree was in English and History from Brunel University London. After that, they obtained another Master's degree in Politics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
In terms of additional certifications, Sarah M. became a Certified Product Marketing Manager through the AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management in October 2017. Sarah also acquired membership in the same institution in March 2017. Lastly, they have a certification called Pragmatic Marketing-Level One from Pragmatic Marketing, although the date of completion is not provided.
