Dan Plant is an experienced Senior Technologist at EFI Engineering since April 1995 and has held the position of Co-Owner at DebnDan Unlimited since February 2007, providing business support services focused on IT and health and safety. With a strong commitment to community service, Dan serves as a Board Member at Gracefield Christian Camp and Retreat Centre, where responsibilities include chairing the Fund Development and Communications Committee and leading the Tech Team. Past positions include Senior Technologist and Senior Designer at Lowe, Gravelle and Associates until May 2023, and a contract instructor at St. John Ambulance, Cornwall Ontario Branch, delivering various first aid courses. Dan has also contributed to education as a part-time professor at St. Lawrence College across multiple technology and health and safety programs. Dan's academic credentials include a Diploma in Marine Engineering Technology and a Certificate with Distinction in Teacher of Adults, both from St. Lawrence College. Early in their career, Dan served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Master Seaman, completing the METTP program.
