Marco Panzeri is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in fixed income and proprietary trading. Since October 2007, Marco has served as a Proprietary Trader at EFG Bank, focusing on Emerging Markets Hard and Local Currency Debt. Prior roles include Head of Fixed Income at Profilo Asset Management SGR SpA, where management of the Fixed Income Mutual Fund and Flexible Mutual Fund was undertaken from December 2003 to October 2007. Previously, Marco was the Head of the Fixed Income Department at HSBC SGR (Italia) S.p.A., responsible for multiple fixed income mutual funds and serving on the International Investment Committee in Geneva. Early career experience includes positions as a Portfolio & Relationship Manager at Intesa Asset Management SGR and a role in proprietary currency option trading at Credito Bergamasco Spa. Marco holds a degree in Business and Economics with a specialization in International Finance from Università degli Studi di Bergamo and further education from the University of Reading.
