Local Content Expert at Efficio

Parker Kapp has extensive experience in various roles related to supply chain management and procurement. Parker was most recently employed at SABIC as a Local Content Expert, where they provided expert advice and strategies to improve the local content program. Prior to that, they worked at Efficio and the Ministry of Industry and Mining Resources in similar roles.

Before their recent positions, Parker held the role of President and CEO at Value Chain Solutions LLC, where they were responsible for leading the company. Parker also served as the General Manager of Supply Chain Transformation at Pro-Pac Packaging (Aust) Pty Ltd, where they oversaw the development and implementation of the supply chain center of excellence.

In 1991, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of Pretoria and obtained a Bachelor of Administration degree in Public Management in 1993. Parker furthered their studies in 1994 with a Bachelor of Administration Honours degree in Public Administration, also from the University of Pretoria.

In 1999, Parker pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Bond University, which they completed in 2000. During the same year, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced Supply Chain Management from the University of Pretoria.

In addition to their formal education, Parker has obtained multiple certifications related to their field. In 2009, they became a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). In 2010, they achieved the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification from APICS and also became a Lean Practitioner through Motorola University in Partnership with Vative. Parker further expanded their expertise in 2011 by obtaining the Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) certification from ISM. In 2012, they became a Lean Master and Lean Expert through the Lean Six Sigma Society for Professionals (LSSSP).

Additional certifications include the SCOR-P certification from APICS Supply Chain Council, achieved in 2010, and the Cetified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from APICS in 2009. Lastly, Parker holds the MCIPS designation from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, although the specific timing of this certification is not provided.
