Christie Hutchinson, CFA, CPA, CA(SA), is the Managing Director at Effectus Group since November 2018, focusing on technical accounting and IPO services within the life sciences industry. Previously, Christie held managerial roles at Deloitte from August 2012 to October 2018, advising on complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, and specializing in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the financial services, FinTech, and technology sectors. Prior experience includes serving as an Audit Senior and Auditor in Charge at Deloitte New York, with a focus on financial services clients. Academic qualifications include a CTA in Accounting Honours from the University of South Africa, a PGDM in Accounting Conversion from the University of Cape Town, and a B.Bus.Sci with Honours in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
