Johannes Ouendag's work experience begins in 2005 when they worked as a Student Intern at Randstad. In 2005, they also started working as a Junior processpecialist at Start People Inhouse Services until 2010. In 2009, they completed a Graduation Internship in HBO MER at Start People Inhouse Services.
In 2010, Johannes joined Effectory as a Project Assistant and worked on employee surveys, focusing on improving processes and leading small groups of other project assistants until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Data and Reporting Specialist at Effectory, where they turned survey results into valuable and readable reports using Excel, SQL, and custom applications.
Johannes then transitioned to becoming a Software Developer trainee at Effectory in 2016 and later became a Junior Software Developer in 2017. Johannes contributed to designing and implementing a serverless, event-based microservice architecture and was part of the internal architecture board. Johannes continued to grow in their role and became a Medior Software Developer in 2017 and a Senior Software Developer in 2019. In these roles, they mentored multiple colleagues and was responsible for designing and implementing a serverless, event-based microservice architecture.
More recently, Johannes became a Technical Team Lead at Effectory in 2021. In this role, they oversee cross-team alignment and ensures timely and qualitative delivery of software. Johannes also focuses on improving the team and its members. The team they lead is predominantly involved in creating, maintaining, and supporting an application for users to create and run surveys through a self-service platform built in Angular (12), .NET Core 3, and .NET.
Johannes Ouendag began their education at Scholengemeenschap Amersfoortse Berg from 1998 to 2003, where they received their HAVO degree. Johannes then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, and Law from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2003 to 2009. Following that, they attended the University of Amsterdam from 2009 to 2012, specializing in Klinische Neuropsychologie without specifying a degree. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they enrolled in Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) to complete a Premaster in Finance, General.
