Osama Yawar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles in the software engineering field. Osama is currently the Head of Engineering at Efani, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cognizant Softvision, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from November 2022 to March 2023, and Software Engineer from June 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Cognizant Softvision, Osama worked at Morgan Stanley as a Software Developer from May 2017 to June 2021. Osama also gained experience as a Full Stack Developer at BOMBARDIER from August 2015 to May 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Developer at GradProSkills from November 2014 to February 2015, and as a Software Engineer at caremerge from December 2012 to August 2013.

Osama Yawar completed their Master of Applied Computer Science degree from Concordia University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Computer Sciences degree from CECOS University of Information Technology and Emerging Sciences from 2009 to 2012. Osama's educational journey began at Frontier Model School, Warsak Road, Peshawar, where they completed their Matriculation degree in Computer Science from 1992 to 2004.
