Sam Dearing has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Sam started their career at KCOM as a Senior HR Advisor in September 2005 and worked there until January 2015. After that, they joined SIG plc as an HR Manager and led and developed the HR Shared Services team with a focus on driving positive change. Sam worked at SIG plc until February 2017. Currently, Sam is serving as the HR Director at EFAB Industrial Solutions (EQUANS), a position they have held since February 2017. Sam has a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered FCIPD.

Sam Dearing has a strong educational background in Human Resource Management. They obtained a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Lincoln, completing it from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Sam also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the same university, from 2010 to 2011. They also hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Lincoln, which was obtained from 2009 to 2010.

Before pursuing higher education, Sam completed a Certificate in Personnel Practice from Hull College in 2008. Their earlier education history includes attending Hessle High School from 1991 to 1997.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sam has obtained several certifications. They are a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), having obtained the Chartered MCIPD certification in April 2019. They also became a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in January 2013.
